What is BOTOX® Cosmetic?

BOTOX® Cosmetic is one of the most popular non-surgical cosmetic treatments worldwide. It's an FDA-approved injectable that temporarily reduces the appearance of moderate to severe facial lines and wrinkles, particularly in the forehead, between the brows (glabellar lines), and around the eyes (crow's feet).

BOTOX® works by temporarily blocking nerve signals to the muscles, reducing their activity and softening the appearance of wrinkles. The result is smoother, more youthful-looking skin without affecting your natural facial expressions.

How BOTOX® Works

BOTOX® Cosmetic contains a purified form of botulinum toxin type A, which works by temporarily blocking the nerve signals that cause muscle contractions. When injected into specific facial muscles, it reduces their activity, allowing the skin to relax and smoothing out the wrinkles that form from repeated muscle movements.

The treatment is quick, typically taking only 10-15 minutes, and requires no downtime. Results usually appear within 24-48 hours, with full effects visible within 7-14 days. The effects of BOTOX® typically last 3-4 months, after which the treatment can be repeated to maintain results.

Treatment Areas

Forehead Lines

Horizontal lines that appear across the forehead when raising your eyebrows. BOTOX® relaxes these muscles to smooth the appearance of these lines.

Glabellar Lines (Frown Lines)

Vertical lines that form between the eyebrows when frowning. BOTOX® can significantly reduce the appearance of these lines, giving you a more relaxed and approachable look.

Crow's Feet

Other Applications

What to Expect

During your consultation, our expert practitioners will assess your facial anatomy and discuss your aesthetic goals to create a personalized treatment plan. The actual BOTOX® procedure is quick and involves minimal discomfort.

After the treatment, you may experience slight redness or swelling at the injection sites, but this typically resolves within a few hours. You can resume most normal activities immediately, though we recommend avoiding strenuous exercise, alcohol, and lying down for 4 hours after treatment.

Results develop gradually over 7-14 days, with the full effect visible by two weeks. To maintain your results, we recommend follow-up treatments every 3-4 months.
